Tony Bednar is the President and Integrator for Strategic Talent Partners. He is an accomplished and adaptable management professional with over 20 years of experience in senior leadership and executive management. His experience covers multiple functional areas including Finance and Accounting, IT, Operations, Sales and Marketing, M&A, Project Management and team leadership. Over the course of his career, Tony has excelled at recruiting team members that shared common core values. Tony believes when building a team, it is vital to find smart and talented people that fit into a company’s culture. His passion is fostering the culture and collaboration that ensues from building and developing great people. Before becoming the president of STP, he was most recently the President and Integrator for KeyStone Executive Search, and previous to that a Minneapolis based media company running on EOS®.
Tony grew up in southern Minnesota and learned what it was like to put in a hard day’s work at a young age while working summers for an electrical contractor. The lessons he learned on the job helped shape him as a person and ultimately as a business leader.
Tony graduated from Minnesota State – Mankato with a B.A. in Accounting. He began his career in public accounting and was a licensed CPA. He then moved over to the corporate world and became a Controller for a Marketing and Communications firm. His time in Accounting and Finance provided the foundation he needed to launch his career and ultimately become a respected mentor, senior executive, and business leader.
He and his wife, Tina, live in Cottage Grove, MN and have two children who are very active in sports and theatre. During the summer, they like to spend as much time as possible at the lake fishing and boating. In his spare time, Tony also enjoys competing in triathlons and other extreme races.
